"Although it is impossible to truly put into words the admiration and gratitude I feel for Donna Klein Assoc. and two of its outstanding therapists, I will try my best for the sake of all parents who will benefit from reading this. My daughter, Isabella was born at 3lbs 10oz (full term) and diagnosed as SGA or Small for Gestational Age. Due to her extremely low birth weight she experienced developmental delays in many areas including gross and fine motor skills. At approximately nine months she started therapy through the Early Intervention Program and began working with a wonderful physical and occupational therapist from Donna Klein & Assoc. The strides she has made in the last year have been absolutely outstanding! With the help of her PT, Isabella has gone from barely being able to sit independently to practically running and dancing around the apartment. I still remember when she took her first steps during one of her sessions. My eyes filled with tears and I hugged the PT knowing that it was her skillful guidance and support that made this possible and for that I am truly thankful.
When Isabella and I began working with her OT I was amazed at the wealth of knowledge she brought to each therapy session. However, I believe that her finest gift as an OT is her ability to translate all her skills and experience to create a warm, playful and enjoyable environment for every session. We both can’t help smiling and laughing as we watch Isabella carefully manipulate a shape sorter or stack blocks only to clap her hands with glee when she achieves her goal. Isabella and I always happily anticipate what exciting new toys and challenges await us with each of our OT’s visits.
Finally, I just want to take a moment to thank our therapists for the care and support they have given to me as a mother. A session never goes by without a kind word and a ‘pat on the back’ for my efforts with Bella. These two outstanding women are not only therapists to Isabella and myself – they are our friends…and although Isabella may not yet be able to express in words her thankfulness, it is apparent every time she hears the doorbell and excitedly runs to the door awaiting a visit from one of her best friends! "

"Because both of my children have required OT and PT services, we have worked with quite a few occupational and physical therapists through other agencies. Donna’s professionalism, experience and depth of knowledge immediately set her apart and make her stand out. From our first meeting, her passion and love for helping kids and their families were obvious.
